A lot has happened since we launched our admitted home program back in 2018. With your partnership, we’ve put down some solid roots in Texas and continue to grow our programs, including these recent rollouts:

• Last year, we introduced our E&S Home Program, giving you more coverage options and fewer declines.
• Last week, we began offering two E&S Home quotes. You pick the coverage and price that best fits your customers’ needs.
• Also, last week, we began offering short-term rental coverage through our Lloyd’s program.

While there is much to look forward to, this fact remains: the cost of insuring homes and purchasing adequate reinsurance in our catastrophe exposed state continues to rise, for everyone.

As your partner, this is where we ask for your patience and understanding.  Starting on June 1, we must adjust your commission as follows:

Admitted Home Program

• 12% for New Business
• 10% for Renewal Business – no change

This commission adjustment will be somewhat offset in an environment of increasing premiums. And while we know it’s not easy, it is necessary for maintaining our AM Best rating, and ensuring our products are financially sound. As your partner, we’re asking you to stick with us as we tackle the daily challenges our industry throws our way. We promise it will be worth it.
